I'm not a trained journalist, just someone with a few college writing credits and a deep appreciation for one class that taught me how to verify sources and pursue the truth - a skill that feels essential now more than ever. This section of my site is collection of my thoughts, frustrations, and observations about the current administration and the broader issues we face in an age of disinformation. I do my best to fact-check and link to credible sources, but I encourage you not to take my word for anything - if something sounds off, please look into it. That's the real goal here: to remind readers how to think critically, verify facts, separate opinion from evidence, and recognize outright misinformation.
My second goal is to give you the tools - or at least the perspective - to engage in deeper conversations and debates about what's happening beneath the headlines. I'm not here to be right; I'm here to provoke thought, spark curiosity, and maybe help you see something a little more clearly. On a side note, I've found it almost therapeutic to put pen to paper - sometimes we absorb so much information that we need something tangible to show for it, to process it, to record it. So, this is also a journal of current events - a personal archive of a moment in time where history is being made before our eyes. We've never faced a political takeover quite like this, and if nothing else, I hope these words stand as a record - not just for today, but for future generations trying to understand how it all went down.
